Updated GSN schedules for October 10-16 and October 17-23: 'Hellevator' reruns, 'Scare Tactics' reduced

Following an extremely poor performance on Friday night (and likely Friday latenight plus throughout the weekend), some Hellevator and Scare Tactics slots have been pulled:

Changes (for next two weeks):
*On Mondays (starting 10/17), Family Feud will air 11pm-1am; replacing Hellevator rerun and Scare Tactics
*On Friday latenight (10/14 and 10/21), The Newlywed Game will air at 3am and 3:30am; replacing a Hellevator encore

All Times ET

  1. I think it's safe to say that Hellevator and Scare Tactics will be nothing but horrible memories for GSN after October...if they last through October.

  2. GSN needs to stop making shows like this and start making more actual game shows that people will actually watch. 2016 could very well be known as the worst year in the history of GSN. I don't want to sound like a politician, but we need to "Make GSN Great Again."

  3. If they ever do game shows again, I just hope that they don't get a comedic host for them and make it all "innuendo-filled".

and of course the top-prize would be lowered as well.

  4. I'd like to see GSN, just one time, try an old standard and not screw with the format. Take something that did well in the 70s/80s. Basically like what ABC did with Pyramid. I know funds would be limited w/ gaining rights, but try one show and see if the ratings are acceptable. Like Anon. said above, get a reg. game show host. After the Hellevator fiasco, it couldn't hurt to try.

  5. Also not every game show needs to be a clone of Harvey's Feud (i.e. Black Host, Dirty Humor etc.) for ratings (i.e. Millionaire, Let's Ask America).

And not to be rude Tammy, but ABC's $100,000 Pyramid did have one episode with the term "Hard P#nis" used as a clue.
