GSN primetime average likely hits record high

There is a reason Steve Harvey Family Feud occupies 16 of 21 hours of GSN primetime.

It appears GSN's primetime average has hit a record high. GSN's primetime/total day average for May 30-June 6 was 557,000 total viewers and 338,000 18-49 viewers. Since I started keeping track in Excel in the beginning of 2012, I have not seen a week come even remotely close to this high. I also highly doubt any week in 2011 or before (back to 1994) received this many viewers in primetime.

I am 99.99% certain that last week's primetime average was a 22-year high for GSN (network history). Casey Abell observed that this is most likely a record high.

Last week's total day average of 338,000 total viewers was the highest since the week of February 15-21, 2016 (which had 343,000 total viewers).

From observing the above figure, new runs of Idiotest (370K and 374K on Tuesday) and Skin Wars (501K on Wednesday) were below last week's GSN primetime average.

  1. Well 4 Seasons of Harvey Feud Are on GSN. Look for The 5th season of it. It will come in September And look for 15-16 Feud will be coming to GSN In September 2017 The 16-17 Season Of feud will begin either Monday September 12 Or Monday September 19, 2016. So Stay Tuned

    1. While it is very likely the 2014-15 season of Harvey Feud will come to GSN in reruns this September, which I believe was part of a deal GSN had a couple years ago for the 2012-13, 2013-14 and 2014-15 seasons of Family Feud (which would premiere two years after they launched in syndication on GSN), there is no set lease for future seasons besides after 2014-15 at the moment.
