Yesterday, GSN issued a press released on the Valentine's Day Steve Harvey Family Feud "marathon" that we already knew about a week ago. Even though GSN sent out the press release to the media and sources like us at 4:26pm ET yesterday (2/1), GameShowNetworkNews did not bother to post about it since we already knew the news.
Each of the 10 specially selected half-hour shows features questions designed to remind viewers about dating, romance and the ones they love the most, on the most romantic holiday of the year. Harvey elicits impromptu and often hilarious answers to questions like: “Name something a man would be holding that a woman would find sexy,” “Name something you open for a night of romance,” “Name a place where a cheap date might take you” and “Name a reason why a woman would turn down a date with a gorgeous guy.”
Additionally, yesterday's press release was not picked up by any news sources (Zap2It, The Futon Critic) until Broadway World got around to posting the release early this morning.
Of course, once again, this is no special marathon by GSN. Despite a few minor breaks with Skin Wars, Idiotest and Hellevator reruns inserted, Steve Harvey Family Feud has aired in the Sunday 6-11pm ET block since the fall of 2014.
