Last week's (October 26-November 1) GSN total viewer average was 347,000 viewers (all seven days 8-11pm ET) in primetime and 309,000 viewers in total day (All seven days, 8am-4am ET), according to TVNewser.
This is the lowest primetime average a GSN week has set since the week of October 13-19, 2014 (where the primetime average was 345K). It is obvious that most of the damage done was from GSN adding two more hours of Hellevator reruns to the primetime lineup on Friday (10pm) and Saturday (8pm). One of the Friday night reruns of Hellevator received only 187,000 total viewers. Hellevator tends to rerun poorly in total viewers but adequately in 18-49 viewers.
The above primetime average is down 24% from the prior week (458K) and down 4% from the same week last year (362K). This is one of the few rarities where a primetime average in 2015 was lower than the same week in 2014.
The above total day average is down 13% from the prior week (354K) but up 4% from the same week last year (298K).
