|Mark Labbett is "The Beast"|
on GSN's The Chase.
First up: Mark Labbett
"The Beast" is scary, horrifying, yet smart. He is also unique at 6 foot, seven inches and 370 pounds, where the same black suit and black tie every episode. Mark is also super smart of course, as this is one of the very few game shows in the world where we see a personality rooting against the normal, everyday contestants regularly. Mark also has a great back and forth with the contestants and host Brooke Burns. Mark is what made The Chase here in America The Chase as we know it, where it may not have gotten past a first season without him.
|RuPaul is a judge on Skin Wars|
and host of Skin Wars: Fresh Paint
The reason many people I know and around the internet tuned into Skin Wars last summer was because of RuPaul. Rebecca Romijn was also there and well known in the world outside of body painting, but RuPaul is innovative. RuPaul is a game changer who is outspoken on a lot of television, including his own very popular show, RuPaul's Drag Race. No one in Game Show Network history has been this well known in the media, which is what has attracted an outside-of-GSN (a.k.a. young) audience to Skin Wars. RuPaul is what makes Skin Wars and without him behind the judging table, Skin Wars may have not been a success and granting the publicity is was.
It's no wonder why The Chase and Skin Wars have gone into multiple seasons with the record-breaking ratings they have been achieving. Of all GSN personalities, Mark and RuPaul have the two busiest schedules. GSN needs to hold on to them, keep their shows as priorities and pay them handsomely for the fine work they do.
