For its second straight week in a row and for the third time this season, Idiotest has received back-to-back new episode ratings with less than 300,000 total viewers, which is just flat out bad for GSN in primetime.

This past Wednesday at 8pm ET, Idiotest scored 266,000 total viewers and 60,000 18-49 viewers. At 8:30pm, Idiotest received 269,000 total viewers and 70,000 18-49 viewers. Both episodes were new; Idiotest rose 1% in total viewers and 14% in 18-49 viewers from half-hour to half-hour.

At 8pm, Idiotest is up 3% in total viewers but down 20% in 18-49 viewers versus last week (5/13). At 8:30pm, Idiotest is up 10% in total viewers and up 9% in 18-49 viewers versus last week.

Lie Detectors, in its third to last week of new episodes, scored some serious lows (not series lows, but serious/severe lows). At 9pm, Lie Detectors scored 157,000 total viewers and 30,000 18-49 viewers. At 9:30pm, Lie Detectors scored 107,000 total viewers and 25,000 18-49 viewers. Both episodes were new; Lie Detectors dropped 32% in total viewers and 17% in 18-49 viewers from half-hour to half-hour.

The Lie Detectors at 9pm dropped 42% in total viewers and 57% in 18-49 viewers from lead-in Idiotest at 8:30pm.

From last week (5/13), Lie Detectors is up 25% in total viewers at 9pm but down 6% in 18-49 viewers at 9pm. At 9:30pm, Lie Detectors is down 27% in total viewers and also down 17% in 18-49 viewers.

  1. People are getting tired of Idiotest. It's on too much, and you can only stomach so much of a needlessly smug host with a lisp.

  2. Would that be a thmug hotht w/ a lithp?
