Baggage On The Road
Nothing has changed here either. It's also the waiting game. If The Chase gets renewed, say in the next few months and nothing is mentioned in the press release about Baggage On The Road, then the show is doomed.

It Takes a Church
Ratings really plummeted this week. 278,000 total viewers is awful for an hour of GSN primetime for a number of reasons: One, the lead-in, Family Feud, usually averaged 500,000 viewers (and usually more) at 7:30pm weeknights. Second, It Takes a Church has been advertised constantly around the schedule. Third, it's a series low for It Takes a Church. Additionally, awful news for It Takes a Church was the 18-49 demo number: 57K viewers. GSN's primetime average has been hovering near 100K for the 18-49's with all the Steve Harvey Family Feud and Idiotest. Last, It Takes a Church had a rerun removed from Sunday nights (which was effective last night). Unless things really perk up, these odds are going to continue to fall drastically, just like this week.
Chance of renewal: 35% (down 15% from last week)
Even though Idiotest fell in both 18-49 and total viewers over its premiere week, that's okay for multiple reasons. One, on 4/8, Idiotest rose from the 8pm new episode to the 8:30pm new episode in both 18-49 and total viewers. Second, the 18-49 viewers were very strong (140K average for both new episodes) while the total viewer number was not strong (337K for the hour). Normally, a show that received 337,000 total viewers on GSN would have 80K to 90K 18-49 viewers.
Plus with Idiotest, it's great for reruns for years to come. The show gets good reviews anyway, the second season has been better than the first and if anything, renewal odds for Idiotest should increase since GSN has a fairly weak development slate right now (which could change this summer/fall).
