'The Chase' FINALE tonight; 'Game Show Flashback' premieres

Game Show Flashback, hosted by Ben Gleib, with celebrity guests.
We have a big night for GSN. First up at 8pm ET is the Season 3 finale of The Chase. Last week, The Chase soared in ratings to hit a season high. Will The Chase rise yet again this week? Leave your prediction in the comments below.

At 9pm ET is a rerun of Idiotest. At 9:30pm ET, GSN special Game Show Flashback, hosted by Idiotest host Ben Gleib will premiere. This special will take a look back at some of the funniest and most memorable moments in game show history. Celebrity appearances alongside Gleib on Game Show Flashback include Tanisha Long, Al Jackson, Bret Ernst, Bethany Dwyer (who also did Baggage recaps for GSN in 2010-12) and Vic Cohen.

This block will rerun from 11pm-1am ET.

Ratings predictions:
8:00pm The Chase (New): 714,000 total viewers
9:00pm Idiotest (Repeat): 453,000 total viewers
9:30pm Game Show Flashback (New): 494,000 total viewers.

  1. Hopefully, The Chase ends the season on a bang. Also, I guess you made a typo in the name. It should be Gleib.

  2. Yep, he spelled my name wrong. Mr. Blogmeister, it is Gleib, not Glein. I had a blast working w/ so many fun loving celebs while making this 30 minute retrospective. Hopefully we get the green light for a few more from time to time.

  3. I am well aware it is "Gleib", it was just a dumb typo on my part.

Anyway, how do I know if this is the REAL Ben Gleib or just an online impersonator?

    1. The jokes just write themselves.......

  4. Who knows, maybe Ben reads Game Show Network News from time to time, or this could be an impostor fooling us.

  5. I have never heard of any of these "celebrities." GSN has a bad habit of having celebrities that aren't really celebrities. DeRays, if you want to call them.

  6. Yeah, just watch Mind Of A Man. That was a clear example of how GSN sucks at picking celebrities. Although Jerry Springer hosted Baggage and the upcoming revival. Same with Brooke Burns, before The Chase, she hosted NBC's Dog Eat Dog. And just recently, Dean Cain from Lois and Clark: The New Adventures Of Superman appeared on a celebrity episode of The Chase. The other two that were on there, I have never heard of. What I'm saying is that GSN does a so-so job of picking hosts, but not with celebrities to appear on their shows. By the way, The Chase will premiere January 27th, and for most who might not know, Idiotest returns with the remaining 8 episodes on a new night and time. It will return Wednesday, January 7th at 8/7c, as a lead in to the premiere of Baggage: On The Road.
