Ratings: 'Crosswits' performes well

Source: SonoftheBronx

Game Show Network's second stack of "game show rarities" from last Sunday night featured Crosswits from the 1980's with many celebrity guests. This hour of Crosswits, which aired from 11pm-12am ET late Sunday night averaged a reasonably solid 290,000 total viewers for the hour, and a 0.1 in the 18-49 demo. The first episode had 302,000 viewers while the second dropped 8% to 277,000 viewers.

The previous attempt at game show rarities on GSN took place Sunday, October 5th in an earlier timeslot and a much poorer lead-in. Classic game shows All Star Secrets and Babble averaged 99,000 total viewers for their hour.

All Star Secrets and Babble aired at 9pm ET and the lead-in was Let's Ask America. The lead-in to Crosswits was Family Feud.

  1. The power of advertising what's on your network...

  2. Count me as one of the viewers who tuned in for the 11pm episode but got bored with the 11:30 showing.
I'm glad this is one and done.

  3. I hope Debt or Fox's Family Double Dare is next for GSN on Classics Sunday.

  4. GSN has learned from their mistakes from All Star Secrets and Babble. Putting the show at 11 pm was a smart move.

  5. I wish GSN would acquire more episodes of this show and put it on the weekday schedule, preferably in the 11am hour.
