|Jerry Springer will host the Baggage reboot|
The format for this revival is the same as the original, where one contestant chooses from three potential suitors with small, medium and large flaws or bad habits in their past and current life.
Previously, Game Show Network was casting for a Baggage revival. The casting call was available in Texas, far from the usual Los Angeles, creating the second traveling game show this year for GSN, the first being The Line, alongside city-to-city casting for The Chase. A source tells me Game Show Network wants to create another traveling game show after a successful turnout from The Line, which filmed in Nashville in July for four days. The Line is expected to air on GSN in November.
This is one of many series Game Show Network is working on right now, where The Chase and It Takes a Church have been picked up for additional seasons expected to air in 2015, potentially along with soon-to-be renewed Skin Wars, which will also air in 2015 and potentially but not-yet-renewed American Bible Challenge and Idiotest.
Baggage was a hit on Game Show Network starting in April 2010. Baggage went on to earn a second and third season and still appears on the GSN schedule all seven days a week.
