  1. How much longer can they keep putting STYD and TNG out there from 4-6pm?
Move STYD in the mornings and put hour long DOND in the late afternoons. Or just expand on Chain Reaction or Catch 21.
Catch 21 has been ONLY on at 2pm for ages and it does good in the ratings. Give him the 5pm hour at least

    1. I agree with everything you said except STYD in the mornings. That show did well at noon when it aired there back in December, so I say put STYD at noon. Stunt shows are not what people want to watch in the morning, which is why every Minute to Win It marathon GSN has ever aired has been a ratings failure.

    2. STYD didn't do that well at noon, it only averaged 171K viewers.

Now that's more than Inaba or Feud (Karn) did, but far less then what Lingo (Woolery) averaged at noon.

    3. Here were the averages for the noon hour.

      Shop til You Drop 197k
      Lingo (Woolery) 265k

Lingo (Woolery) would be a better show to put in the noon hour than Shop til You Drop. I say move Shop til You Drop to weekends eventually.

  2. WOW Sunday night 1 & 1:30 a.m.-I almost have as many Facebook friends as they have viewers.

  3. For those who are curious, here's how the classics did on the weekends.

    9:00am Blockbusters 90k
    9:30am Press Your Luck 155k

    9:00am Blockbusters 87k
    9:30am Press Your Luck 177k

  4. wow, thanks Tyler. Those are some low, low numbers for "Blockbusters". But the same can be said for the "Newlywed"s in the weekday afternoons. They oughta be yanked from there pretty quickly.

    1. No problem. It appears that BlockBusters is the least watched show on GSN.

    2. Of course. Nothing will do well in that time slot.

    3. Blockbusters has actually improved every week since it moved to weekends.

      April 26 & 27: 75k
      May 3 & 4: 81k
      May 10 & 11: 89k

I think Bill Cullen will eventually get up to 100k viewers again.

    4. Most folks should be in church at this time, so it doesn't surprise me. And what has happened to this site? It's dried up like an old man's wee-wee. I hardly ever check it anymore becuz nothing new is posted except comments.

  5. Here's something I'd like to experiment with. The highest and lowest rated shows based upon TV ratings.

    Highest rated TV G show.
    Tuesday 2:30pm Chain Reaction 349k

    Lowest rated TV G show.
    Sunday 9:00am Blockbusters 87k

    Highest rated TV PG show.
Wednesday 7:30pm Family Feud (Harvey) 478k

    Lowest rated TV PG show.
    Sunday 2:00am The Pyramid 70k

    Highest rated TV 14 show.
Thursday 9:30pm The Newlywed Game 408k

    Lowest rated TV 14 show.
    Sunday 1:30am Mind of a Man 44k

I think it's pretty obvious that Sunday is the least watched day of the week.

  6. It is kind of hard to beat the Feud considering they show it a million times a day.
