  1. Is it just me, or does Harvey Feud do much better at 6:30 than at 6? I mean, all the commercials advertise the show at 6/5c, but shows like Catch 21, The Pyramid, and Deal or No Deal, with no promotion whatsoever, get more viewers in their timeslots than Harvey Feud gets at 6 (not 6:30).

Mind of a Man also doesn't do well with all its timeslots and promotion that it doesn't deserve. Seeing as though all pre-1990s (except for Match Game and Blockbusters) average better than MoaM, that proves that classics are still worth watching, and there should be more of them.

  2. It's 7pm right now, and you know what's on GSN right now? Sherriwed. WHY???

  3. Couple thoughts....

GSN should lease "Mind of a Man" to BET, it doesn't belong on GSN and could be a "hit" there.

GSN should produce more episodes of "The Pyramid" it got ok ratings in Prime Time, and does well in reruns. The 40 eps they have right now are getting run into the ground.

I like Baggage, but i wish they would replace the 2nd airing (at 3:00-4:00am) with Black & White Overnight (WML & IGAS), they'd get comparable ratings and it would make the hardcore GS fans happy.

    1. Why would Mind of a Man be a hit on BET?
That's like saying GSN should lease MTWI (Ohno) to ESPN.

  4. I keep waiting for the cutback in Mind of a Man, and it never comes. For whatever reason GSN keeps giving the show an incredible 18 runs a week, though the ratings simply don't justify that much exposure. Maybe when new eps of other originals start coming on board later this year - American Bible Challenge, The Chase, Idiot Test, Skin Wars - GSN will finally trim back DeRay and friends.

As for Harvey Feud's "bad" showing at 6:00 PM, it's just a weak lead-in from 1 vs. 100. Much as I personally like the Saget version, the show hasn't performed well in the afternoon. Harvey actually does well to recover from the poor lead-in.

It's much like Engvall Lingo recovering well at 12:30 PM from a weak lead-in of 100K Pyramid and Carrie Ann's 1 vs. 100.

    1. The showing of Harvey Feud at 6pm has always been weaker than 6:30pm (but still strong, and yes I agree that it has a massive improvement over 1 vs 100). Traditionally on GSN or really anywhere on cable TV, the second half-hour show does better than the first. Since 2012, this has stuck true with Steve Harvey's Family Feud.
