Douglas Pucci reports that the newest episodes of Mind of a Man on Wednesday, January 29th scored their lowest ever, 260,000 total viewers at 8pm and 277,000 total viewers at 8:30pm. This is down 22 percent from the previous week in total viewers.
Mind of a Man this week scored a not-so-impressive 101K and 107K in the 18-49 demographic. Both 18-49 and total viewers were not very impressive, the lowest ever since the January 8th launch of Mind of a Man.
Also, ancient, un-advertised and early morning reruns of Press Your Luck and Sale of the Century topped the new runs of Mind of a Man in primetime. Press Your Luck scored 374K and 351K on 1/29 and 1/30 while Sale of the Century saw 327K and 280K on 1/29 and 1/30. Press Your Luck and Sale of the Century were the highest rated classics during the week of January 20-24.
Mind of a Man has been taken off Monday evenings from 7-8pm and will be replaced by Steve Harvey's Family Feud.
I'm not sure what the GSN office is thinking but when early daytime runs of just about every show from 9:30am through primetime are beating Mind of a Man, that's a serious issue. Note that Mind of a Man is earning just a fraction of the numbers The Chase is.
