Effective the week of February 24th, Mind of a Man has been shifted and heavily reduced around the schedule. Casey Abell at GameShowFollies has uploaded more updated schedules compared to the ones originally sent out last night. Syndicated Deal or No Deal is still in its spot through the end of March. In addition, 2012-13 Family Feud has not surfaced on GSN yet.
Here are the links to these updated schedules:
(No changes for February 17-23)
February 24-March 2
Mind of a Man will be cutback from the current 20 slots it has now (all new runs and reruns) to 18 slots which does not seem like too much but those two slots taken away are the Wednesday night new runs, which have been moved from 8pm (ET) to 10pm (ET). Other rerun slots from the end of February through the end of March include Tuesday 3am (ET), Wednesday 1am (ET), Thursday and Friday latenights, Saturday 12pm, 8pm and 12am (ET) and Sunday 1am (ET).
The 8pm (ET) slot for Mind of a Man will be taken by Steve Harvey's Family Feud.
No way Mind of a Man is up for a Season 2 renewal. Even when the two-hour series premiere on January 8th averaged 407,000 viewers I was on the fence about an additional order of episodes but the audience did not click. The following week, January 15th, Mind of a Man continued in its one-hour regular slot averaging 301,000 total viewers, new, with an impressive 18-49 demographic. On January 22nd, Mind of a Man averaged 343,000 total viewers, for new episodes, up from the previous week. Though, Mind of a Man was beaten by morning classics and averaged 269,000 viewers for its new episodes on January 29th. Mind of a Man in its most recent week averaged 222,000 viewers in new runs and 159,000 viewers in all runs.
Meanwhile, The Chase has had all five new runs in 2014 above 600,000 total viewers, ranging up to a series high 827,000 viewers on January 28th.
