Happened to come along this online today which was also floating around on GSN's Facebook page. The Chase is getting some more promotion around the internet and in some Manhattan bars. Pub quizzers, which can be played in any bar anywhere nowadays, test groups (either solo or of varying numbers) on their knowledge about general trivia, just like shows on television do now, including The Chase and Who Wants to be a Millionaire.
Well, Brooke Burns, Bob Saget, Regis Philbin and Meredith Vieira may not be in the bar but these pub quizzers must be entertaining to be sticking around this long, in many different countries in fact. Most pub quiz games are played on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights to boost low than normal business. Even Mark Labbett participated in a game in Queens recently, according to the article.
It's just another free promotion for The Chase, more than fine promotion no less, though the crowds seem to stay in the bars on Tuesday nights with fine but not phenomenal numbers for The Chase at this point.
The Chase airs Tuesdays at 8pm in new runs on Game Show Network.
