The final grade for GSN in 2013 is a B+. What's yours?

  1. Here are my highs and lows of 2013.

The American Bible Challenge continues to be GSN's #1 program.
Sale of the Century acquired, other classics get fresh episodes.
O'Hurley's final season and Harvey's second season acquired.
    The Newlywed Game cancelled.
The Chase premieres and is liked by most viewers.
    1 vs. 100 and Blockbusters re-acquired.
    Shop til You Drop acquired.
What's My Line and I've Got a Secret return for two weeks.

Dancing With the Stars marathon on Super Bowl Sunday.
    Jeopardy! leaves the schedule.
Family Trade premieres, thank goodness it's gone.
Dawson Feud leaves the schedule for the first time in GSN history.
    Card Sharks leaves the schedule.
Million Dollar Password leaves the schedule.
Minute to Win It produces very low numbers.
Lingo (both versions) leave the schedule.
Love Triangle returns to the schedule.
Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader leaves the schedule.
    Skin Wars gets green-lit.
Mind of a Man gets way too many timeslots on the advanced schedules.

My grade for GSN in 2013 is a B.

  2. I'll Give GSN in 2013, B-.

Sale of the Century gets added onto the schedule[big gain for the classics]
Different episodes of Match Game finally being aired on GSN full time after 1-2 years of waiting
American Bible Challenge continues it's success in its new season
The 2009-10 & 2011-12 seasons of Family Feud are being acquired
Cullen Blockbusters returned to GSN airwaves
Shop Till You Drop offically airs regularly on GSN
1 vs 100 once again started airing after a brief hiatus
The Nov 1983-Feb 1984 eps of PYL being aired on the schedule
The Chase & Ohno MTWI premieres
WML & IGAS returns regularly for only 2 weeks[it would be interesting if WML and IGAS were on longer]

Card Sharks and Dawson Family Feud were being knocked off from the regular schedule
Family Trade premiered[good thing that show is no longer aired by GSN]
MDP and 5th Grader were taken off the lineup with Lingo and Jeopardy
DWTS aired back on Super Bowl Sunday
Chain Reaction and The Pyramid getting way too much viewership[I dont like Lane CR & Richards Pyramid]
Love Triangle returned to the schedule
Skin Wars gets the green lit

I thinking that when 2014 comes, GSN can celebrating it's 20th Anniversary by doing a all classics marathons[ones that were aired during GSN's history & others never been on GSN before] and a all modern marathon[with any GSN original & modern game show aired except for Richards Pyramid, Camoflauge(Lodge), Lane CR, Dwyer IGAS, Mall Masters, Improvzanga, SMTM, Love Buffett and Love Triangle]
