REPORT: 'American Bible Challenge' Season 3 will premiere in Summer 2014

We'll have to wait a little bit longer for a third season of American Bible Challenge. A source from GSN has sent out that GSN's smash-hit bible-based quizzer will not be ready for "at least six months." Initially, the season was expected to premiere in the last Winter/early Spring 2014. A more descriptive announcement will not be made until the Spring, at this point.

In addition now, a two-plus minute promotion has been posted on The American Bible Challenge Facebook page stating "Season 3: Coming 2014". This reason for this delay is unknown, due to the fact that months ago tentative taping was set for December (2013, aka now) according to one of Foxworthy's agents/rep. Now, according to the show's taping/tickets page, American Bible Challlenge is still "On hiatus" for some time.

  1. GSN is so lazy about this, I'm surprised The American Bible Challenge hasn't tried to move to another network. I wouldn't blame them if they did that, since GSN is trying to become the Family Feud Network, and this week's schedule proves it.

  2. Season 3 of the show was shot 2 weeks ago. Why are you making things up?

  3. I'm sorry, but 1) They weren't suppose to tape until December, according to a Foxworthy source months ago, and it is very rare for a taping to get moved up. 2) There is no proof of tapings anywhere, either pictures or Twitter posts and 3) If they did tape all 9 episodes by now, the premiere date would not be 6+ months from now.

GSN taped most, if not all Mind of a Man episodes 1 to 2 weeks ago, if that's what you're thinking of.

  4. I figured with Mind of a Man, they'd move Bible to March.
