*: May improve to better time slot, more slots or double-run

Green percents show an improvement in percent, red percents show a decline from the previous week. In bold shows a rise/fall of greater than ten percent.

Calculated by ratings over past five weeks (September 16-October 20) versus daytime average and lead-ins/lead-outs, rise/fall over extended time and previous shows in that time slot. All Times Eastern.

  1. The only morning timeslots I could see going away are $100k Pyramid at 11:30am and Karn Feud at noon. I could see Password Plus or a new classic acquisition going at 11:30am, and Lingo or a new classic acquisition at noon.

Karn and O'Hurley 4pm-6pm probably won't last long, I say give Lingo a timeslot and maybe give Catch 21, The Pyramid, or Chain Reaction an additional timeslot, or acquire 5th Grader, Millionaire, or even Cash Cab could work.

Monday and Friday probably needs an acquisition to improve, 5th Grader, Millionaire, or Cash Cab would probably do well there. Sunday nights also need an acquisition, though I'm hoping for Wheel of Fortune.

  2. $100K Pyramid actually puts up some solid numbers considering its death slot.

More variety from 4-6pm is needed. It's just that there's way too much Karn/O'Hurley during daytime. They should a) Axe the Karn hour at noon; b) Have Harvey at 5pm instead of O'Hurley.

Monday nights will get better ratings again once DWTS/The Voice end their seasons in December. They tie in with the demographic GSN has and as you can tell, really hurt the ratings.

  3. $100K Pyramid does decent in its death slot, but I still think Password Plus or a new classic acquisition might do better.

If Karn gets axed from weekdays completely, then I could see a schedule shakeup look like this(if nothing gets acquired).
    8:00am Match Game
    8:30am Match Game
    9:00am Super Password
    9:30am Press Your Luck
    10:00am Sale of the Century
    10:30am $25K Pyramid
    11:00am Super Password
    11:30am Password Plus
    12:00pm Match Game
    12:30pm $100K Pyramid
    1:00pm Family Feud (O'Hurley)
    1:30pm Family Feud (O'Hurley)
    2:00pm Russian Roulette
    2:30pm Lingo (Engvall)
    3:00pm Catch 21
    3:30pm The Pyramid
    4:00pm Chain Reaction
    4:30pm Chain Reaction
    5:00pm Family Feud (Harvey)
    5:30pm Family Feud (Harvey)
    6:00pm Family Feud (Harvey)
    6:30pm Family Feud (Harvey)

Network ratings are always gonna be better than GSN ratings, but I agree Monday nights will probably improve in a couple months, though I'm still hopeful for a new acquisition.
