The Schedules, change

The advanced schedules on GameShowFollies show changes on Tuesday nights effective October the first, with a new Minute to Win It at 8pm ET and The Chase rerunning at 9pm sandwiched between Steve Harvey Feud at 7pm and 10pm. On Friday nights, Baggage airs from 7pm to 11pm, in other words, all night.

The schedule does report that Richard Karn and John O'Hurley Family Feud return weekdays at 4pm. Richard and John were replaced by Steve the other week. I can not imagine this change sticking unless Harvey Feud really putters out. GSN has been advertising Steve's Feud at 4pm around the schedule. Once Douglas Pucci (@SonoftheBronx) posts the September 16-22 numbers, we'll know for a fact.

As of now according to the online schedule Richard Karn and John O'Hurley Family Feud return in their respective slots starting Monday, September 30th. Quite an odd change back, considering Steve Harvey's Family Feud should only be getting better numbers, that time of day and Chain Reaction lead-in.

I can tell you one thing: There will be changes the week of November 4-10. It seems far off but its the week a new season of The Chase premieres and I really see Ohno Minute to Win It getting reduced even more from eight-a-week throughout October.

Plus, let's not forget about mornings. Those Press Your Luck and Sale of the Century leases are supposedly only six months.

  1. Press Your Luck and Sale of the Century were originally 6 months, but I believe they're being renewed for another 6 months. GSN probably thought The Chase would hit 7 figure numbers and would switch out the classics in mid-October, which is why we've already seen the Christmas 1983 episodes of Press Your Luck. Since that didn't happen, I doubt we'll see any new classic until December when What's My Line and I've Got a Secret (supposedly) return for 2 weeks like they have done for the last few years.

  2. You can check the advanced schedules down on the right at GameShowFollies. The episode numbers are listed for all shows. I'm not an expert on picking which episodes are from which yeat but you can check if the lease was extended there for sure.
