One. Year. Ago.

What else do I have to say? The show has been a continuous hit throughout two seasons and eighteen episodes. The series already has been renewed for a third season, which is not a big deal since the first two seasons have averaged nearly 900,000 viewers for new runs.

GSN had their highest rated night in primetime, ever. American Bible Challenge had 1.730 million, Beat the Chefs had well over 500,000 viewers and an episode of Steve Harvey's Family Feud had 809,000 viewers.

All those "American Bible Challenge: The Making Of" Specials (Actually one, repeated several times) was the only time GSN ever did something like that special, and also Zap2It advertisements plus all the media advertisements.

Looks like it's all paid of.

A year ago tonight (8/23/12):
6:00pm-8:00pm: Family Feud (Harvey): "Viewers Choice Contest"
8:00pm: American Bible Challenge: Premiere
9:00pm: Beat the Chefs: Premiere (Only to flop after 4 weeks)
10:00pm-11:00pm: Family Feud (Harvey): "Viewers Choice Contest"

  1. Actually, smartypants, GSN aired a Catch 21 behind the scenes special prior to its premiere in 2008.

  2. I didn't watch the premiere, and the only time I watched the show was the 2nd season finale in May. That sure is great, and the schedule hardly looks like last year, but also because today's a friday. Now, we have the new Minute to Win It, The Chase, and S11 Harvey Feud to garner the ###s.

  3. Forgot about Catch 21. Thanks.

Scott C, American Bible Challenge is a great show. You're missing out on one of the best originals ever for GSN, even if you don't know the bible too well.

Plus, Syndie Feud has seasons 4-13 airing on GSN now. 4-7 are Karn; 8-11 are O'Hurley; 12-13 (now entering 15th in syndication) for Harvey.
