Last night, August 20th, GSN's production of Minute to Win It had 356,000 total viewers at 8pm. This was a new episode, and up 8% from last week's 329,000 total viewers.

The Chase had 401,000 total viewers at 9pm for the new episode. This is up 1% from last week's 397,000 total viewers.

In the 18-49 demo, Minute to Win It had 61,000 and The Chase had 88,000. Nothing strong but not too weak, for GSN standards, that is.

Last night was the fifteenth episode of Apolo Ohno Minute to Win It and the third week/fourth episode of The Chase

  1. The Chase had great numbers in the 18-49 demo when it premiered, and it has now lost nearly half of those numbers. Those numbers will continue their decline. These are not good numbers.

  2. GSN is never going to have great 18-49 demos. Even the MTWI press release where they brag, they still wish they had more 18-49's.

A 75,000 18-49 average with 379,000 total viewers for first-run originals is just "fair", and nothing more. Set alone 379K in more than good, but reruns of Family Feud and 5th Grader do much better.

A lot of Newlywed Game new runs over the Fall/Winter had 300 to 350,000 total viewers (which is fine) but 75K or less in the 18-49. Newlywed Game didn't get another season, but the show also ran its course.
