GSN Reaches Highest Overall Viewership Average in quite some time

GameShowFollies reports the information from SonoftheBronx that GSN sets their highest overall average in recent history.

With a primetime average of 397,000 viewers (8-11pm ET) and an overall average of 310,000 viewers (8am-4am ET) during the week of August 5-11, GSN has topped new heights with the additions of The Chase and continuations of Apolo Ohno-hosted Minute to Win It, Are You Smarter than a 5th Grader? and Steve Harvey's Family Feud, alongside the John O'Hurley and Richard Karn versions.

This is GSN's highest-rated overall average in near history. Not one week has reached a 310K overall average in 2012 or 2013, two of the highest rated years on the network since its launch in 1994.

The primetime average for August 5-11, 2013, 397,000 viewers has been the highest since May 20-26, 2013, which is when the second season finale of American Bible Challenge occurred with 960,000 viewers.

Great job, GSN.
