While we were gone...

...After a much needed break, and GSNN put on hold due to non-game-show-related issues.

News from this past weekend
-Douglas Pucci on Twitter at SonoftheBronx states that the seventh episode of American Bible Challenge, on May 2nd, scored 767,000 viewers, just around the going-rate of this season. This number is up 10% from last week, and had 167K viewers in the 18-49 demo (impressive)

-On Memorial Day, there will be a NBC Minute to Win It marathon all day up until 6pm. Ten hours of Minute to Win It is a lot, and I do not see the marathon succeeding. The last marathons averaged 253K on Christmas Eve and 156K Thanksgiving afternoon. I'm surprised they didn't squeeze in a Steve Harvey Family Feud marathon into Memorial Day.

-Other schedule changes in effect starting May 27th-June 2nd include The Newlywed Game on Thursday nights from 8-10pm. This change surprises me. It would be a wiser idea just to make Wednesday and Thursday nights Harvey Feud.

-John O'Hurley's Family Feud also gains an hour Sunday afternoons, as American Bible Challenge vacates the schedule. A third season is expected.

-The Chase had auditions in Chicago and New York this past weekend. Atlanta and Washington DC are next on Saturday, May 11th.

-Congratulations Chad Mosher for graduating the University of Michigan (UMFlint!). Man, it's not easy. Schools, Game Shows, Password. Everything is going for him.
