Match Game had some really good numbers, four of which above 200,000 viewers. The rest of the morning did really well up until around noon. The noon Pyramid hour had a few lower 100K numbers, but 5th Grader bounced back really nicely, 345K on Tuesday. The rest of the afternoon did very well, with each show averaging above 350K from 3-5pm.

The highest rated pre-1990's this week were The $25,000 Pyramid on Monday at 12:30pm with 312K. Other winners were The $100,000 Pyramid and Super Password with 275K+ numbers.

Monday Family Feud (7-11PM): 320K
Tuesday Minute to Win It (7-11PM): 286K
Wednesday Family Feud (Harvey) (7-11PM): 546K
Thursday Family Feud (Harvey) (7-9PM): 465K
Friday Baggage (8-10PM): 234K Whole Night (7-11PM): 245K
Saturday Family Feud (8-11PM): 394K
Sunday 5th Grader (7-10PM): 503K

Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday were the powerhouses of the week. Tuesday did alright. Minute to Win It had 326K (8pm) and 346K (9pm). Still good numbers. On Friday, Baggage did alright. Also interesting to point out, on Thursday Harvey Feud beat out American Bible Challenge by 30,000 viewers at 10:30pm. Still, Bible rose 18% from the Harvey Feud lead-in.

Also, I mentioned the other day I would show a format example for Mind of a Man. I'm still waiting for clearance.

  1. Glad to see "Press Your Luck" inching back to a weekly average of 200k+ viewers.

Going back to one of your previous posts, since Friday nights seem to be tough to schedule for GSN (for some reason), why not try a different show...or maybe even a "Primetime Classics Block" just on Fridays.

    Think about it:
    Super Password at 8pm
    Match Game at 8:30p
    Press Your Luck at 9p
Sale of the Century at 9:30p

It could be an idea that might work for the network...

  2. Waiting for clearance from who? GSN? Alex Davis learned what happens when you become their puppet. Publish what you know or stop pretending to be some sort of insider.

    1. Hi. I had a format pitch that was sent in to GSN. I'm waiting for clearance if I can publish the format due to copyright issues
