GSN Keeps Rolling

The TVNewser Cable Ranker is in, and the news is great for GSN.

This past week, April 29-May 5, GSN ranked 36th in daytime and overall, averaging 443K/290K, primetime/total day. The overall viewership average, 290,000 viewers, is slightly above the norm. The primetime average is even more outstanding. Usually, low to mid 300K's are average, until American Bible Challenge rolled around.

Since the first full week in March (March 4-10), the primetime average has always been above 375K, and four times above 400,000 viewers. Very unbelievable for this [reasonably] small cable network.

The primetime average has not been this high since the week of August 20-26, 2012 when American Bible Challenge premiered. Otherwise, unless in 2010 with the success of Family Feud, Newlywed Game, Baggage and Deal or No Deal, the primetime average has not been this high within the past few years.

This will make Douglas' numbers at SonoftheBronx more worthy than normal to see this week.
