I mentioned in the previous post that the GSN schedule has been doing very well lately, and it proves in ratings.
There have been some smart schedule changes throughout February, including more John O'Hurley Feud in the afternoons and the return of Woolery Lingo to the schedule for the first time since October.
The first two weeks of O'Hurley Feud at 5 & 5:30pm weekdays averaged 272K, then 240K, just around or above how Minute to Win It performed at 5pm. Then, the third week, March 4-10, the Feud hour averaged 326K. This is all compared to the 238,000 viewers Minute to Win It averaged in the 5pm hour in the past five weeks (January 14-February 15).
Woolery Lingo has averaged 176K and 171K in the first two weeks at 11:30am. This compares to the 177,000 viewers Jeopardy! averaged at that slot in the previous five weeks (January 21-February 22) in the 11:30am time slot.
Looking at the advanced schedules that were released this past week, "New to GSN" episodes of Steve Harvey's Family Feud will make their way to the schedule this coming Wednesday night (March 20) from 7-10pm, and then Thursday night (3/21) from 7-9pm and 11pm-12am. Remember, these episodes were already acquired a year ago, and will run through Mid-June.
Also, with the exciting, latest news on Minute to Win It, a logo was released today for the GSN version. This is not the official one, but is just a digital description of what the new logo could look like.
GSN's Minute to Win It shoots episodes starting March 21st and lasts through April 12th. 48 episodes are listed, but 40 will tape. This type of stuff happens with shows sometimes, to see when an audience can make it or not.
It just seems like an awful lot of shooting for Apolo, though.
