The last airing was Friday morning at 8am, but I have a feeling it won't be the last airing "forever". Sure, we still have 2000's Feud to watch from 4pm and on everyday, which is not too different from the classic version, but some hard-core Dawson-lovers are a little upset.
There have been a couple things thrown around about pre-1994 Feud and if it will make its way back to the schedule. Sometime in GSN's lifetime, which is sure to last for years to come, we will see a classic version of Family Feud back.
Prediction: Richard Dawson Feud will return this year, but not in a regular weekday slot as long as Press Your Luck and Sale of the Century don't bomb and Chuck's Lingo remains afloat at 11:30am. Dawson Feud will probably return in an Independence Day and/or Thanksgiving and/or Christmas/New Years' marathon this year. Just like the Match Game marathon they'll probably lease a new season/special episodes.
To the forum posters, you did see this coming. Richard Dawson Family Feud aired at 9am for the longest time, declining in ratings, then pushed back to 8am last May and since has averaged 70,000-100,000 viewers an episode. Not bad at all, but it's worth airing a double run of Match Game which is sure to do better.
