'Family Trade' OUT [later in April]

Wow, it must have really bombed the third week. After averaging 403,000 viewers in its premiere week, most likely underwhelming for the GSN higher-ups, and then 212,500 viewers Family Trade averaged the second week, the third week must have crashed too.

Following their second-highest-rated program ever, American Bible Challenge last week, plus a lot of Steve Harvey Family Feud in the mix, the network averaged 422,000 viewers in primetime last week. Family Trade received half of that 422,000 viewers last week, in its heavily advertised Tuesday slot.

No further schedule changes yet. Minute to Win It holds onto seven slots a week, Newlywed Game regains its weekend slots and airs six slots a week. Still, for the time, I'm sure the Tuesday late-night rerun slots will receive below 100,000 viewers, and the 9am eps will probably get below 50,000 viewers.

Now that I know the show is doomed, I'll actually watch a few more episodes. Saw one, and it was watchable but not why I order Game Show Network. All of the eight new episodes will air by April 16th.

ALSO: Got an entry on the 40th anniversary of Pyramid in the works.. Stay tuned.
