The ratings for the second week of GSN smash-hit American Bible Challenge remain above average for the network, but nothing phenomenal. From Douglas Pucci at SonoftheBronx, the second week of American Bible Challenge fell 32% from the March 21st premiere to 774,000 viewers.
This is still better than the half-the-audience ratings drop last season around, where American Bible Challenge premiered at 1.73 million, and then by the second episode dropped nearly half the audience to 949,000 viewers.
These are still good numbers for GSN, but for this second season there wasn't a lot of out-of-network promotion. If the show stays around or above this, it's still a hit. But if American Bible Challenge sees lower numbers with episodes of Steve Harvey Feud doing better every week, it still deserves a third season but needs promotion.
I'll have the ratings recap up for the week of March 18-24 very soon.
